While at Burning Man 2016 and biking across the Playa, I noticed the Tea Pots Caravan Art-Car on my left. What a  fantastic chance of capturing a great image. I rode fast to my right, set-up for the soon to be passing art-car, and got the photo. I entered the image in the Graphis Photography Annual in the Fine Art category and won a Silver Award.

I art directed and set-up many photoshoots for Hans Design but this Graphis Award was my first for photography. Worldwide there are only 10 Platinum, 94 Gold, 160 Silver, and 122 Merit Winners. Graphis is the premier worldwide Communications Publishing Company since 1944.

One can say that Burning Man images carry their energy forward. And I’m saying, “I’m looking forward to Burning Man 2017!”
